How to Fix Handbrake Unable to Rip DVD After Installation in Ubuntu

I use handbrake to backup my old movies and store them on my Home Media Server. As it is easier to play them from my TV set. I won’t go into details about my Media Center setup at home, but rather I want to go over how to fix Handbrake inability to rip dvd after install. Yesterday, After I installed Handbrake, I proceeded to backup one of my movies, and the application just will not open the titles in the movie. In other words, it was unable to read the movie, much less burn it. Doing a bit of research online, I discovered that there are a few steps that needed to be completed after Handbrake installation. Like Installing Ubuntu-rescritcted-extras and libdvdread4, which is used to read and prepare the dvd.
Update system and Install Ubuntu Restricted Extras

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade  
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras ubuntu-restricted-addons

Install the Library needed to read all types of DVD and execute the script for it

sudo apt-get install libdvdread4   
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/
